With Montreal Comic Con coming in a few weeks, I am now scheduling photoshoot times for that weekend. My slots this weekend will be more limited than they would be at Otakuthon, so contact me ASAP if you're interested in a specific time/day.

Rates are unchanged from the recent Otakuthon, and are listed below.

If you're interested in booking a shoot with me, please PM me with the following information:

1) Day and time(s) you're interested in,
2) Who you're cosplaying as,
3) Contact info (cellphone/email),
3) Preferred meeting location,
4) Shoot location suggestions/preferences (if any), and
5) Desired mood/atmosphere of the photos (if any).

Rates
Returning customers: I offer discounted rates to my returning customers. PM me for details.

Individual - $60 per session, with each session lasting 30-45 minutes. You will receive 7-9 retouched shots.
Two people - $110 per session, with each session lasting up to 1 hour. 5-7 retouched shots per person, and 2-3 retouched group shots
More than two people - $40 per additional cosplayer, 4 retouched shots per person, and 2-3 retouched group shots

What to bring to each shoot
1. Poses! - I typically do a little research on each character/series I shoot ahead of time, but no one knows that character better than you! The more poses/ideas you bring to the shoot, the more I can work with, and the greater the shots will be. Practice your poses in front of a mirror (or with a friend), rather than just looking at reference photos/videos.

2. Props! - Pretty obvious if your character has a weapon.  However, for characters without weapons, a generic accessory that suits your character can also add to the mood and help tell a story in each photo. Examples of this include: umbrellas/parasols, books, teacup/saucer, mirror,  baskets, hats, hairbrushes, stuffed animals, scarves/mittens, and so on.

3. Attitude! - During the shoot, it helps to be in-character. It goes a long way in making each shot believable, and maintaining a good flow throughout the shoot.

4. Friends/Buddies! - Whether it be for moral support, pose coaching, or just someone to keep you company during the shoot, feel free to bring a friend/buddy.

Any questions, please feel free to PM me.
Short notice, I know, but I will be attending Fanexpo 2013 on Saturday only. However, I do have a few slots open; if you're interested, please send me a message me on FB (I won't be home on Friday afternoon/evening to check through dA), with the following details. There won't be preset slots, but if you let me know what time you're interested in, I can tell you if I'm available.

1) Time(s) you're interested in,
2) Who you're cosplaying as,
3) Contact info (cellphone/email),
3) Preferred meeting location,
4) Shoot location suggestions/preferences (if any), and
5) Desired mood/atmosphere of the photos (if any).

Taking place a mere week after Katsucon, this was the first time I attended Con-G, a small convention held in Guelph, Ontario. Having been to Katsucon only the week before, and having experienced its beautiful venue and large variety of shooting locations, it was quite a shock to see how small and run-down/out-of-date the Con-G convention venue was. Fortunately, there were lots of superb people attending to make up for the lack of elegant/epic surroundings. Fortunately, I didn't go to Con-G primarily to shoot (although I did end up doing some casual shoots with friends), but rather to chill out with the Toronto cosplay crowd, and chill out I did. :)

Anyways, here are some preview shots from Con-G 2012. Full sets will come after my Katsucon sets are completed.

_______________

It's been two weeks since Katsucon 2012, and what a con it was. Everything I heard about the venue wasn't nearly enough to prepare me for what the Gaylord Hotel had in store. Potential shoot locations everywhere, and on nearly every floor. Unique lighting from morning all the way until past-midnight. Never thought I'd say this, but as heavily booked as I was, I still feel I UNDER-booked for this con. As a result, next year I might just book all the way up until around midnight.

Thank you to everyone who showed up to their scheduled shoots, and brought their A games. It was pleasure working with all of you!

In the meantime, please feel to check out the Preview shots. Full sets of photos will be available, as they are completed (usually in order of the day/time they were shot).

As always, thank you for your patience and continued support!

1. I'm in the process of updating the gallery over the next few days. It'll be messy at first, but eventually I'll get it all organized.

2. With Katuscon 2012 coming up in a few weeks, I'll be posting a booking schedule up over the next few days, so those who are going can see what day/time slots are still available. Until that's up, you can get a jump on the others, and msg me for my rates and the times you're available to shoot.

Stay tuned, big changes ahead. Change is good, right?

Many of you may have noticed that I haven't gotten around to updating my dA gallery yet. Until this is done, please visit my Flickr page (flickr.com/alucard_leashed) to view my works.

Thanks again for the watches and your patience.

Cheers!
Lots of older photos being posted slowly, starting from last year (I'm not going to torture people with my even older work). It'll be interesting to see how far (or not) I've come in a year's time. Again, bear with me, and enjoy the ride.
Time to fill up my DA page. Lots of older photos from a year or so ago will come first, followed by more recent ones, and so on.

Please bear with me any sudden and drastic changes that might come to this DA page as I add more work to it.

Feel free to offer comments, questions, or critiques.

Cheers, and enjoy.
